Once in a while i have visited Toronto to see Dj Harvey play an awesome Set! At this time i had trouble to find a job in Montreal and i wanted to check out Toronto, if it might be a fit for me to live there. 7 hours and 2 Hot chocolates at Tim Hortons later we arrived in Toronto. Luckily Jared and I shared driving so that i didn´t drive out of Montreal and into Toronto which takes by far longer than expected! The weekend passed by really fast and everything was great! I met absolutely awesome people and was amazed by the apartment I´ve lived in. Martin, Stefan and Goswin are remarkable people who i met through a friend and i felt welcome and home right away! Unfortunately i wasn´t able to take pictures from the landscape on the journey as i was driving but it was absolutely beautiful and different from Germany. My first driving experience in Canada was awesome and totally different from driving on german highways. It was really difficult to not fall asleep and tricky to not drive more fast than 120 km/h. Eventually i have to admit that being on a highway is much more relaxing here in canada!
