Aha, this is also how it feels to have a great time!! Awesome, I want more of it :) Becky and I met up to visit a farmers market around the corner and ended up having ( without lying ) the most wonderful day I´ve experienced in the last 5 month. The market wasn´t interesting at all and so we decided to jump on the scooter and drive to Verdun to hang out on the docks at the canal! The weather was great and the journey there was already impressive because of a destroyed church which we spotted and observed somewhere on the way and the infinite feeling of freedom during the ride.
The lake was refreshing, made me feel really relaxed and balanced! Of course we were super hungry on our way home and stopped at a unbelievable delicious barbecue place somewhere on Rue Wellington. Recently I thought about becoming a vegetarian again but this place made me reconsider my ideas.
During the dinner Becky mentioned that we could watch the spain fireworks in old Montreal and since I haven´t been to the old port before we decided to go there. First we drove through the streets with the scooter which was impressive because if I would not have known better we could have been in france or spain. The architecture isn´t very canadian at all. There are lots of people on the streets and the flair is totally a holiday vibe!
After a long and nice walk we ended up hanging out in a beach club, talking for several hours and listening to the music. The firework was amazing and lasted for more than 30 mins.
